You'll probably have a few questions by the time you start using AuctionWeb, and as you continue to discover its capabilities. This document hopes to answer most, if not all, of the questions we frequently receive.

Tips for sellers[NEW!]
Review this document for some helpful tips about selling at AuctionWeb.

Item management

Add your item
Use this form to add your items. Be sure that you've read AuctionWeb's General Information document before you list any items.

Add to your item's description
If you've left something out of your item's description, use this link to add to it. Note that you cannot change your previous description or item title, since we don't want sellers to make a material or significant change in the item once the auction is underway. Your additions are time-stamped in case a dispute arises with your bidders.

Change the category of your item
If you put your item in the wrong category, use this to move it to a different category.

Retrieve a summary of all the listings you have placed
Follow this link and enter your e-mail address in the field marked 'seller.'

End your auction early
Use this link if you want to end your auction early. You should be aware that many bidders wait until the very last minute to bid, in an effort to avoid being outbid, so you may lose a potential buyer by doing this.

AuctionWeb accounts

AuctionWeb accounts and fees
Listing fees for some items are due the First of every month, but you can avoid hassle by creating your AuctionWeb account. Follow the above link for complete information about our fees and to instantly create your account.

Account status
Up to the minute accounting of all credits, debits and current balance for your AuctionWeb accounts. Accounts are not created until the first credit or debit is posted, so even if you have already created your account, no information will be here until the first account activity.

Billing policies
Read this document to understand our billing policies.

Make a payment
Invoices are e-mailed the First of every month, but it is your responsibility to pay any balance due even if you don't receive the invoice. The easiest thing to do is to create your AuctionWeb account, but you can also use this payment coupon to mail your payment.

Credit request
You may request a credit for any listing fee which is due for an item which you are subsequently unable to sell.

Reinstate your account
Complete this form to reinstate your account if it has been suspended due to a past due balance.
